Gene C. Danzeisen, 88 of Temperance, MI, died Friday, January 1, 2016, at Magnumcare of Monroe. Born May 29, 1927, in Toledo, OH, he was the son of Carl and Frieda (Magsig) Danzeisen. He married Leah J. Rollins on November 27, 1948 in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Temperance, where he was a member. She preceded him in death on July 10, 2004. Gene was a lifelong self employed dairy farmer.
He is survived by his loving children, Gary (Connie) Danzeisen, Debbie Emrick and Rich (Lynae) Danzeisen,; brother, Milo (Chrissie) Danzeisen; 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his son, Jerry Danzeisen.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm, Tuesday, January 5, 2016, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park, Sylvania, OH. Memorials may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Temperance. www.pawlakfuneralhome.com
